FAR.E Tech

The future of biogas is also technological. We start from real plants to build tomorrow's tools.

What it is

FAR.E Tech is where we explore the technological evolution of the sector

It is born from operational experience and the need to make plants increasingly controllable and predictable.

It is not a product. It is a direction of development.

Everything we explore starts from a real problem encountered in plants. Not from a technological idea looking for an application.

We don't start from technology. We start from real plants. Everything we develop comes from concrete problems.

Where FAR.E Tech comes from

Each development area responds to a real operational limitation we encountered in the field.

  • Plants with data collected but not read, not interpreted, not used for decisions
  • Biological processes governed by intuition rather than by model
  • Operational decisions made without visibility on the overall system
  • Variability endured because simulation and forecasting tools are missing
Why it exists

Current sector limitations

The biogas and biomethane sector is growing in installed capacity, but not in management maturity. Plants become more numerous and complex, but the tools to govern them remain the same as ten years ago.

Digitalization in the sector is still fragmented: sensors collecting data without anyone reading it, SCADA monitoring without deciding, Excel spreadsheets replacing governance systems.

FAR.E Tech is born to bridge this gap — not with artificial intelligence promises, but with tools that make operational decisions faster, informed and traceable.

Development areas

Three directions of evolution

Not three products. Three R&D areas that respond to real operational problems.

Digital Twin

Plant simulation and predictive control

  • Plant behavior modeling
  • Operational scenario simulation
  • Forecast-based decision support
  • Risk reduction in operational choices
Goal: make predictable what is currently reactive

Biodigesters

Design evolution and biological optimization

  • Study of more efficient configurations
  • Anaerobic process optimization
  • Biology-engineering integration
  • Process loss reduction
Goal: plants designed to be governed

Data integration

Connection between data, biology and operational management

  • Multi-plant data collection and normalization
  • Correlation between operational parameters and results
  • Decision dashboards for operators and management
  • Foundation for predictive models
Goal: evidence-based decisions, not intuitions
Current status

Where we are today

Transparency first. Here is what we are doing and what we do not promise.

Study and structuring phase

FAR.E Tech is currently in the study and structuring phase. We do not yet offer complete technological solutions. We are building the foundations for the future.

This means that every statement on this page is a direction, not a promise. When we have concrete results, we will show them. For now, we show the direction.

Participation in research programs
Development of conceptual models
Analysis of existing technological solutions
Collaboration with research centers
We do not promise immediate revolutions. We build a solid evolution, one step at a time.
Vision

Where we want to go

The goal is to build, over time, a technological platform to support the industrialization of the sector.

Not software. Not a SaaS product. But a set of tools and models that make scalable the governance we currently apply plant by plant.

  • Integrate data from multiple plants into a single system
  • Learn from operational patterns to improve decisions
  • Support real-time decisions with predictive models
  • Make governance scalable and replicable

We do not promise revolutions. We build a solid evolution. From managing individual plants to governing portfolios.
